Welcome, and thank you for your interest in joining the Asura staff team. Applications are open all year round: apply whenever you are ready.
This is a volunteer position. Being an admin on Asura is not about power, status, or titles. It's about responsibility, teamwork, and helping the community in a fair and consistent way.
Good communication and the ability to work with others are essential.
Requirements
To ensure everything runs smoothly, you should meet the following criteria:
- Age: Must be 18+ years old.
- Language Skills: You need to understand written English and be able to respond back. During live events, fast reactions are sometimes needed, so you should be comfortable reading and writing in English without relying on a translator.
- Time & Commitment: The roles are voluntary! However, it is flexible and depends entirely on you. We do expect you to find about 1–2 hours per month as Event Moderator to host an event, alongside ongoing (but casual) communication with the rest of the team. And as admin we'd like for you to already consider yourself invested in the community.
- Soft Skills: Must be self-critical, open to feedback, and a good communicator.
- Compliance: Follow all internal Staff Rules.
Before you apply
- We answer applications as they come in, by direct message on Discord. Make sure you are not blocking messages from people you don't know: in Discord, Settings → Content & Social, allow DMs from server members.
