How to Join the Asura Servers

Asura runs community servers for both branches of The Isle: Evrima (the current, actively developed version) and Legacy. This guide covers how to find and join each of them.

Joining on Evrima

Evrima servers are joined through the in-game server browser:

  1. Launch The Isle (Evrima branch) and click Play.
  2. Open the server browser and switch the filter from Official to Unofficial.
  3. Type Asura in the search field.
  4. Pick your island and join:

Tip: Both servers restart daily at 06:00 (Paris time) with in-game warnings starting 10 minutes before. Log out safely before the restart — see safelogging if you’re unsure what that means.

There is also an Asura VIP server, reserved for supporter tiers Sub and above.

Joining on Legacy

Legacy servers can be joined straight from Steam. Copy one of these into your browser or the Run dialog (Windows key + R):

  • Asura 5 (event points server): steam://connect/isle5.asura-theisle.com:8001
  • Asura 6 (standard points server): steam://connect/isle6.asura-theisle.com:8201
  • Asura DM (deathmatch): steam://connect/isledm.asura-theisle.com:8301

You can also find them in the in-game server list by searching for Asura. If nothing shows up, raise Server Browser Pings / Minute in your Steam settings (Steam → Settings → In-Game) — 1500 for European players, 5000 otherwise.

Tip: If a server is full, add it to Steam favorites (Steam → View → Servers → Favorites) and enable auto-retry to join as soon as a slot opens.

Before you play

  • Join the Discorddiscord.gg/asura. Rules, support tickets, events and the point economy all live there. No application, no interview.
  • Read the server rules — chat conduct and a few no-gos like hacking, meshing and ban evasion. There are no gameplay restrictions beyond that.
  • Link your Steam account on Nexus — it unlocks the live map, dino storage, and earns you points for every minute you play on Evrima.

Stuck, lost a dino to a bug, or something not working? Open a ticket on the Discord — our staff resolve thousands of tickets a year.
