Guides

The full guide library lives inside Nexus. This page is the public landing for the basics that a new player needs to know before joining.

For now, the canonical place for guides is the #guides channel on the Asura Discord and the in-app wiki at nexus.asura-theisle.com/wiki.

What’s in the wiki

  • Getting Started. What Nexus does, how to link Steam, how points work.
  • Live Map. Tracking yourself and up to 20 friends in real time.
  • Skin Shop. Buying, applying, and managing dinosaur skins.
  • Dino Storage. Saving a dino out of the game and injecting it back later.
  • Dino Market and Lab. Buying dinos from other players or building your own.
  • Friends System. Adding players, managing requests, sharing the map.
  • Membership Tiers. Scavenger (free), Stalker, Hunter, Alpha. What each tier unlocks.
  • Quests. Active quest limits, completion rules, the Asura Prime quest path.
  • FAQ. The questions that come up every week.

Quickstart for new players

If you’ve never played on Asura before:

  1. Join the Discord.
  2. Read the four rules. They cover almost everything.
  3. Open Nexus, sign in with Discord, link your Steam account.
  4. Pick a server. Asura 1 is the easier way in (survival, room to make mistakes). Asura 2 is PvP-tuned. Asura 3 is the second survival home, less crowded.
  5. Spawn, eat, drink, don’t die. Points start counting from your first minute online.

Which server fits you

  • Asura 1. Survival rules, new-player friendly. Storage, skin shop, active mods, all the tools.
  • Asura 2. PvP-tuned. Same dino shop, same skin shop, same storage as A1 and A3, but the rules and pace lean toward fights.
  • Asura 3. Same shape as A1, less crowded. Good when A1 is full or you want a quieter island.

Asura Points and skins carry across all three. Stored dinos and quest progress stay on the server where you saved them.

How points work in one paragraph

You earn 100 Asura Points per minute online on any Asura server. Points credit once a day. You spend them in the shop (skins, dinos, market), on Lab creations, in the casino, or on supporter tier daily fees. The Casino lets you wager points for a chance to multiply them. There are also one-time donations and monthly Tebex subscriptions if you want to support the project directly.

If you want the full economy walkthrough, the wiki article “How to Earn Points” in Nexus has it.
